Cartridge filters are constructed of a fiber material which is very effective in removing dirt and suspended matter when water passes through it.

Features not available in either Sand or DE filters include:

• Compact, lightweight, easy-to-install and no backwashing required
• More effective filtration area in a very compact system
• Less maintenance and longer filter runs between cleanings
